What To Expect.
Our services are at 10:30 each Sunday (lasts about 1 hour and 15 minutes)
Some things you will notice as you walk in:
When you first walk in you will notice a diverse group of people. We have a great mix of people for a church of our size averaging around 60 people. Most new guests mention how welcome they feel 'at home' while here with us.
You will then be invited to join us in the main church area (or sanctuary) you are welcome to sit wherever you like and you are also encouraged to wear whatever you are comfortable in. You will notice around you people wearing ties, jackets, dresses or jeans & tee-shirts. So, just come as you are.
During the service we have a full-time nursery for kids up to age five, fully staffed and secure. Our ushers can show you where to find it. Our adult workers are screened through our child protection policy for the safety of all children ours and yours. Part way through the service the older kids will be invited to head to kids church, those from 6 years old to grade 5. Again these workers are also security checked and screened.
During the service you will hear a few announcements, we will sing some songs (you are welcome to join in with us, or just reflect on the lyrics). The songs we sing are from varied styles, each week is different with a mix of traditional hymns, choruses and contemporary worship songs. We also have an open prayer time, we feel it's part of being a family together. During this time people may ask for prayer or give praise for what God has been doing in their lives. We do collect an offering, but we do not pass a plate around. We believe our giving is a part of our worship to God and we have placed an offering box at the back of our sanctuary for those who want to worship through giving of tithes or offerings. There will also be a biblically based message that strives to be relevant to our lives.
At the close of the service, people will head off into the rest of their week recharged and ready to engage with all the opportunities God gives them.
We want to invite you to come and check out our services, you to will feel like part of the family!
