Annual Pike Lake Service!!

When and Where?

Sunday, June 22^nd, 2025 @ 11am – Worship & Scripture at Pike Lake Provincial Park in the Pavilion.

What are we going to do?

We will meet at 11am, listen to some scripture reading, sing, & observe baptisms. Followed by lunch, visiting, games, and lots of fun!

What should I bring?

A lawn chair, hat, food, & swimsuit if you want. *Bring your own picnic lunch for you and your family. * Bring along any activities you would like (balls, frisbees, etc.) and we can play, visit, swim, or relax together. 

Who should come?

EVERYONE! This is a celebration. Invite anyone to come join you for the day – guests are welcome!

Travel

We want to make sure everyone can come! If you are needing a ride, please let Pastor Curtis know ahead of time, and we can make arrangements for you! Pike Lake is less than 30 minutes away from the city. It is worth the trip!!

The Third Way

Over the past few months, we have been working through the Sermon on the Mount through a series called The Third Way. This series is all about the radical way of Jesus. We see in the Sermon on the Mount how Jesus simultaneously rejected outrage and apathy, license and legalism, and the divisive allegiance to the ‘sides’ that opposed each other in his time. In both his life and teaching, Jesus shows his followers, then and now, a new way!
